ABOUT US
Created in 2006, Alchimies SARL initially develops in DIT solutions (Domotics, IT and Telecommunications) and in consulting for SMEs in terms of organization, quality, safety and environment.
At the same time, it is already interested in additive manufacturing, and for this reason joins the RepRap project, within the framework of which it is notably developing the FoldaRap, the world's first foldable 3D printer.
From 2009 onwards, Alchimies focuses on the democratization of additive manufacturing and launches 3DPrintSkin, a website whose objective is to make 3D printing accessible thanks to RepRap 3D printers (thermoplastic filament extrusion). The site will later be consecrated as the most competitive in the worlds market for consumer 3D printing platforms.
Open Edge SAS nait en 2013 et devient le premier centre de formation de France spécialisé dans les formations couvrant l’ensemble du domaine de la fabrication additive. Parallèlement à son activité de formation Open
Edge gère et participe à des projets de Recherche & Développement en tant que spécialiste de la fabrication additive. En 2015, l'entreprise s’installe à Dieuze, dans l’ancien mess des sous-officiers.
In 2016 the group creates Alchimies SAS, afin de professionnaliser la production des imprimantes 3D. Elle prendra possession de ses nouveaux locaux en décembre 2017, une usine de 5000 m² également implantée à Dieuze.
